I am a working singer/actor (see “The Basics”) who coaches a limited number of students focusing on acting/song interpretation, expanding the vocal palette to maximize expressiveness and musical theatre audition preparation. I teach out of my home studio in the Madrona area. I believe that songs are like empty lanterns - each with their own particular form and beauty. I believe it is the task of the singer to crawl inside the lantern and illuminate the song with their own unique luminescence.
