I am a working singer/actor (see “The Basics”) who teaches workshops and coaches a limited number of students. I focus on acting/song interpretation, bridging the gap between the speaking and singing voice, expanding the vocal palette to maximize expressiveness and musical theatre audition preparation. I teach out of my home studio in the Madrona area. I believe that songs are like empty lanterns - each with their own particular form and beauty and it is the task of the singer to crawl inside the lantern and illuminate the song with their own unique luminescence. I believe in the power of breath. Pulling air from the world to create action and expression as unique as your 3 wills.
